i just saw your name referenced on the Coilhouse blog and thought: is that angel of new orleans? i haven’t read the article yet but wanted wanted to saw hello. hello. the aristolochia caught my eye. we studied it this semester in plant taxonomy. there’s a wild asarum (in the arisistolociaceae family) that grows around here northern california). it’s somewhat diminutive to your tropical-looking one. take care. i haven’t been to your blog in a while. still gorgeous.
