It’s pretty quiet and solemn. Just dressed up graves and a Holy Mass at the graveyard. It might be slightly different in other regions of the country, but probably not by much.

Thanks for writing. I love your blog and yes isn’t Kesh just the coolest? I’ve been a fan for a few years now.

Wonderful wonderful, as always.
I love all the contrasts in the photo of you – the girlish, fluttery dress and the half-stark, half-playful skeleton face, and the elaborate goth-victorian necklace, and pretty flowers everywhere…

And such beautiful light in all the photos, especially the Geoff Winningham one.

gorgeous! this is my absolutely favorite holiday. we have day of the dead here but it doesn’t include half of the beauty or festivities of Dia de los Muertos.
