I especially love the photo of the gypsy woman in the yellow skirt. You can tell that the whole meaning of the room is wrapped up in all the people who are going to be there. It reminds me of how my grandmother's dearest dream her whole life has been to have a big house where all of her family will live together. (We're not actually all that eager to live with each other, but since my grandmother sadly can't ever afford such a house unless she wins the lottery, we just smile & nod.)

I never heard of tumbleweaves - they look like an urban form of seaweed. I have nervous hands & keep a braided piece of fall just to twirl in my fingers while I'm reading - otherwise I can't concentrate properly.

I love the writing on the calligraphy site - it all looks like it was done with feather or fountain pens. Supposedly handwriting is getting worse generation by generation because of the increased use of computer keyboards. I tried to model mine years ago on a sweet dancer camp counselor who had lovely, loopy writing. (It never equaled hers, but the effort did improve it quite a bit.)

Depending on the day, I test either ISFP (the artist) or INFP (the idealist). The BestFitType website you linked to is probably the best one I've seen so far dealing with the MB types. Thanks for the info! (and you're right - kinda freaky how right it is)

OK I CHANGED MY MIND. I ventured further into the dark, dank bowels of the regretsy site and now I am afraid I need therapy and/or a lobotomy.

As far as late night wonders...if you are still sick and perhaps feeling like death-on-toast and have a few hours to kill, I highly suggest you take a look at http://www.scarygoround.com/sgr/ , an adorably witty & brillant British webcomic with some occult/"tales of the weird" type themes and whose female characters are remarkably well dressed for a thing illustrated by a male. Sadly, the artist has moved on to other projects, but up til this September I have been faithfully reading it for the past 7 years. It's also interesting to see his technique change and evolve over the years.
Enjoy!

Oh...dear. That regretsy site is horrific, and ...yet, it also makes me a little bit sad...that some person obviously brainstormed their crazy idea and put their blood /sweat /tears /felt/ sequins into those creations and now they are just fodder for mockery.
(but the mockery is sort of unavoidable isn't it?)
(unless you are blind?)

That Myer's Brigg site is great, thank you for sharing the link! I am pretty sure I am an INFP...this dialogue is perfect and I am so glad someone was able to put it into words: "So does when someone doesn’t honor, or accept as valid, my communication or feeling as I try to talk to them about something that matters to me. And I don’t need to talk about myself. I don’t enjoy it. Sometimes I’m frustrated trying to communicate, and sometimes a metaphor or a joke or a story is a way to effectively express myself so what I’m saying can be heard by someone who hears or experiences things differently. "
